Silent Water

This piece caught my attention immediately. The asymmetric nature of it is beautiful, drawing attention smoothly from the left to the right and back again. The clarity of the sky and stillness of the water contrasts with the windows and textures of the buildings. There is just enough balance of grey to white, though I would have liked to see more depths of black-perhaps deeper as the picture spans. This piece leaves a lot to the imagination. I can just sense the calm and serene air that would surround this shot. The lack of color is quite a good touch. Well done.
